KEYE TV Proud To Present the Chuy's Children Giving to Children Parade
Updated: Wednesday, November 28 2012, 06:08 PM CST
If you're new to Austin, you may not know that the Chuy's Children Giving to Children Parade is Austin's largest annual parade.
There are floats, balloons and marching bands. It's also unique because, as the name implies, it encourages children to give to children. Parade-goers are asked to bring a new toy to donate to Operation Blue Santa's toy drive. The parade will stop momentarily to give children a chance to drop off their toys in collection trucks along the parade route.
The parade starts down Congress Avenues Saturday at 11 a.m. Be a part of the fun, and then watch the parade later in the day at 7 p.m. on KEYE TV.
