The multi-media dance theatre work choreographed and performed by Andrea Ariel and Steve Ochoa to music composed by Graham Reynolds runs September 27th through 29th.

Ariel Dance Theatre will debut The Geometry of Proximity - a multimedia dance theatre work about human transformation and awakening on September 27th through 29th.  Incorporating dance, video and original music, the new word will debut in the Rollins Studio Theatre at The Long Center for the Performing Arts.

Andrea Ariel and Steve Ochoa have performed together as individual members and in spectacularly moving and audience favorite featured duets in Ariel Dance Theatre ensemble pieces for seen years.   The pair collaborated to create the choreography and perform the new duet dance concert experience, set to an original score by Graham Reynolds for piano, cello and percussion.

The earth becomes an additional key performance element with integrated video design from Colin Lowry.  Audiences will be taken on an engaging journey to explore the universal wisdom of following one's heart to find our personal and collective destiny, Ariel said.  The production also features lighting design by Jason Amato and costume design by Kari Perkins.

Performances will be Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m.  Tickets are $12 to $25.

Rollins Studio Theatre is located on the ground level of The Long Center at 701 West Riverside Drive, at the corner of Riverside and South 1st Street.
