Bettie's Box Office: 'Seven Psychopaths' Movie Review

Updated: Friday, October 12 2012, 04:59 AM CDT
If you're in the mood for a sort of quirky, violent, dark comedy (think Pulp Fiction), then this is the movie for you.  Seven Psychopaths is about a stressed-out writer who surrounds himself with psychopaths so he can write a movie about psychopaths. Isn't that a great premise?

Seven Psychopaths has as much star power as it does fire power. Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken are the best of the crazies, but that doesn't take anything away from great performances by Tom Waits and Woody Harrelson as an organized crime boss. You know you're in for a ride when Colin Farrell is the most "normal" person in the gang as Marty, the alcoholic screenwriter who finds his story about psychopaths is writing itself.

Seven Psychopaths is rated R for language and (lots of) violence. It opens October 12.
