Free Taste Bud Challenge

Updated: Wednesday, April 25 2012, 05:20 PM CDT
It's time to challenge your taste buds, expand your palate, and see how brave you are when it comes to trying mystery foods. The Dos Equis "Feast of the Brave" is rolling around Austin in a taco truck. The truck celebrates the 150th anniversary of Cinco de Mayo. Starting at lunch on Wednesday and continuing through Saturday, May 5, you can find out if there's a limit to what you'll put inside a taco shell.

In Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles and Miami, local chefs will be crafting and serving free original tacos specific to each city with ingredients not usually found in your soft or crunchy-shelled taco. From pig ear, chicken gizzard and iguana to alligator, crickets and hog stomach, each taco comes with “bravery points,” pitting the cities in a contest for the bravest palette.

Austin's Feast of the Brave Taco Truck will be changing locations daily.
