Help Local Vets Travel To WWII Memorial

Updated: Wednesday, May 2 2012, 07:25 AM CDT
They answered the call of duty.  Now it’s our turn.  A number of World War Two veterans can’t afford to make the journey to the World War Two memorial in Washington, D.C., but they desperately want to go.  A program called Honor Flights makes the trips possible.  There is now a fundraising initiative in Austin to pay for two Honor Flights in June and September.  $130,000 has to be raised.
