A WINTER STORM WARNING has been issued for Travis, Williamson, Hays, Burnet, Llano, Gillespie, and Blanco County until Noon Thursday.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY has been issued for Bastrop, Caldwell, Lee, and Milam County from Midnight Wednesday night to Noon Thursday and for Mason County Until 6 AM Thursday.

A WIND ADVISORY has been issued for Milam County until 6 AM and for Llano, Burnet, Gillespie, Blanco, Williamson, Travis, Hays, Lee, Bastrop, Caldwell and Fayette County until Noon Thursday.

Freezing rain, sleet, and icy roads are possible tonight and through midday tomorrow.

Let Someone Else Cook For You This Easter Sunday

Easter weekend is just days away and a lot of people celebrate with a special feast. Chef Paul French joined us in the studio Tuesday to tell us what the Downtown Hyatt is serving up this weekend.

Easter Buffet

  • Sunday 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Southwest bistro
  • Downtown Hyatt
  • Adults $58, kids $29

Dr. Pepper Glazed Ham with Round Rock Honey Mustard

Ham approx. 10#        1ea
Dr. Pepper            2 cups
Dijon Mustard        ¼ cup
Brown Sugar            1/3 cup
Cider Vinegar            1 Tbsp

1)    Combine Dr Pepper, mustard, brown sugar, and vinegar and bring to a boil
2)    Reduce until thick and syrupy about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat
3)    Score ham with a knife creating a crisscross pattern
4)    Brush glaze over outside of ham.  Reserve left over glaze
5)    Place 2 cup of water in a roasting pan
6)    Place glazed ham in roasting pan and cover with foil
7)    Bake at 325 degrees for about 3 hours or 130 degrees
8)    Uncover ham and brush with additional glaze
9)    Cook for and additional 30 minutes

Round Rock Honey Mustard

Stone Ground Mustard    1 cup
Dijon Mustard        1 cup
Mayonnaise            ½ cup
Honey                ½ cup

1)    Combine all ingredients and mix well
2)    Serve with on the side with glazed ham
