SXSW Presents Prince

The biggest concert of SXSW is set for Saturday night. Prince will perform a private, invite-only concert. The Purple Rain legendary singer will be joined on stage by a 22-piece live band.
If you want to see Prince's gig then hopefully you own a Samsung Galaxy smartphone. Samsung is just one of the companies that are making technology and music harmonize at the festival.
Only at SXSW can you eat your way into a Prince concert. Nicole Ybarra just finished a Samsung Galaxy scavenger hunt. She and her cousin downloaded two apps and then took their appetites across downtown Austin.
Galaxy owners tap tags at 11 restaurants and get an immediate reward of pizza, oysters, smoothies, water ice, cupcakes, brownies, salsa, sandwiches and ice cream. Unlock all 11 and they get the chance to burn the calories at Saturday's Prince concert.
"Probably about four hours all together. Driving around Austin trying to park, and all the traffic from SXSW. Kind of crazy," said Ybarra.
But Ybarra is going to have a lot of well-fed competition for about 200 available tickets. Word is spreading with the help of iPhone owners who may be regretting their purchase for the first time.
More than ever apps are becoming the only way to navigate SXSW, a festival at the intersection of music and technology.
If you have a Samsung Galaxy there is still time to unlock the 11 rewards and be entered to win two free tickets. The Prince concert is set for Saturday at La Zona Rosa in downtown Austin.
