Child Grazed By Bullet In North Austin

Police say a child was grazed by a bullet on Wednesday while eating lunch with his father in North Austin.

It happened at around 2:20 p.m. in the 9200 block of North Lamar Boulevard, just south of the Rundberg Lane intersection.

Investigators say the 8-year-old boy was eating with his father and a friend of his father when the bullet grazed him.

He was transported to Dell Children's Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

A suspect vehicle is described as:

A light-colored (possibly silver) 4-door sedan, dark rims (possibly black), tinted windows.  The driver was a dark-skinned male.
