Ex-Husband Arrested For South Austin Woman's Murder

Police say the woman found dead at a South Austin home last Thursday afternoon was murdered.

Officers found 51-year-old Ernestine Crayton at around 3:30 p.m. at a home in the 8800 block of Dittmar Oaks Drive after police received a check welfare call.

Police say she had obvious trauma to her body and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have arrested Crayton's ex-husband, John Harold Williams (pictured), 44, and charged him with first degree murder.

This is Austin's 9th murder of 2013.Ex-Husband Arrested For South Austin Woman's Murder
