How To Use The Spot Crime Maps

Updated: Saturday, August 3 2013, 05:07 PM CDT
This section has a great new resource to keep up with crime in your neighborhood.

They are Spot Crime maps.

Look to your left and select your area.  You'll see a map with icons showing where crimes happened.   The icons represent different types of crime such as burglaries, assaults even graffiti.  You'll learn where and when it happened.

Scroll down and you can specify which type of crime to search.

Here's another great feature.  You can sign up to receive email or text alerts when crimes happen in your neighborhood. How To Use The Spot Crime Maps
