Male Exposing Himself Near Schools Sought

A male exposing himself to school children near school campuses is putting both the police and school district on alert.

The Austin Police Department and Austin Independent School District are seeking assistance from the public to locate a Hispanic male in his 30s who only spoke Spanish to the victims.  The incidents all occurred between 7-8 a.m. In all three instances, the victims were able to get away uninjured.

Anyone with information about these incidents asked to call APDs Child Abuse Unit at (512) 974-6880.

The incident details are as follows.

Case#1: October 31, 2013; 7:50-8 a.m.
Location: 7300 block of Duval St. (St. Johns and Duval area near Webb Middle School)
Suspect: Light-skinned Hispanic male with brown hair, approx. 30 years old, Spanish speaker, clean shaven, wearing a gray t-shirt and blue jeans with a black belt
Suspect Vehicle: Green 4-door car with a sunroof, possibly a Honda, partial license plate BT3
Details: Suspect drove alongside victim and offered her money, then parked in her path and exposed his genitals

Case#2: November 1, 2013; 7:05 a.m.
Location: 2200 block of Wheeless (near Pearce Middle School)
Suspect: Hispanic male with short brown hair, approx. 30 years old, Spanish speaker, wearing a gray sweatshirt with Aeropostale on the front
Suspect Vehicle: Older dark green 4-door
Details: Suspect drove alongside victim, asked her to come closer and offered her money

Case#3: November 1, 2013; 7:30 a.m.
Location: 7300 block of Duval St. (near Webb Middle School)
Suspect: Hispanic male, approx. 30 years old, Spanish speaker, light brown hair, hair taller in the center and shaved on the sides, stubble on his face, wearing a light brown polo shirt, jeans and a black belt
Suspect Vehicle: Light beige 4-door sedan with a very clean light brown interior
Details: Suspect drove alongside victim and asked her questions, told her she was pretty, exposed his genitals, and said he would come back to pick her up after school
