San Marcos Police Searching For Convenient Store Robbers

Updated: Thursday, May 15 2014, 03:34 PM CDT

San Marcos police say they need the public's help to find two men that robbed a convenience store at gunpoint Wednesday night.

It happened at around 8:15 p.m. at the Sac-N-Pac store at 1636 Aquarena Springs Drive.

Investigators say one suspect, armed with a revolver, jumped over the counter while pointing the pistol at two employees. The second man, armed with a rifle, stood watch at the door.

The robbers took an undetermined amount of money from two cash registers before fleeing on foot, police say. They were last seen running toward the State Flats Apartments, located at 1640 Aquarena Springs.

No employees were injured during the robbery.

The suspects were wearing black hoodies, black pants and black shoes and both concealed their faces with black masks.
