Thefts Top Our Spot Crime Maps

It was a busy weekend in north Austin. The Spot Crime Maps show there was a cluster of four thefts near Great Hills Trail, Braker Lane and Jollyville Road.

One was a theft of a residence. The other theft reports were at businesses in the Great Hills area.

There was also a rash of thefts reported in Central Austin. There were four thefts reported in the community around 2222 and Airport Boulevard.

Then a couple of miles away, there were five thefts reported near I-35 and Hwy 290.

In South Austin, a cluster of burglaries popped up. Over the last week there were four burglaries between Stassney Lane and William Cannon Dr. West of South First Street. There was a burglary of a residence and a business. Plus, there were two car burglaries.
