Go Fish
Want to go fishing or take your kids fishing, but don't know where to start?
Go Fish! Learn-to-Fish Events at Texas State Parks are a great way to get the whole family outdoors, and to brush up on your fishing skills. Check out the Go Fish! calendar to find a Go Fish! event in your area or visit http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/spdest/gofish/index.phtml to learn more. Hands on learning and equipment are provided!
Remember, you do not need a fishing license to fish in Texas state parks, but when you are fishing outside a state park, anyone over the age of 17 needs a fishing license. Find where you can purchase a license near you or purchase online. To find fishing spots near you check out this great map!
