Austin Council Annexes F1 Race Track Land

The Austin City Council approved the annexation of the racetrack that will hold the upcoming Formula One race.
It’s about 1,500 acres of land east of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Most of the land is owned by Circuit of the Americas, the operator of the track.
Austin’s first Formula One race is scheduled Nov. 16-18.
