21st Annual Austin Reggae Festival

Updated: Friday, April 18 2014, 08:25 AM CDT

Great music for a great cause. Austinites will be letting their hair down at the annual Austin Reggae Festival to benefit the Capital Area Food Bank.

It's the 21st year and for the first time it will be housed at Butler Park, not Auditorium shores. Festival goers are asked to carpool and bike to the event. If you must drive, park on 3rd and San Antonio, next to the Autin Music Hall and take the free Austin Reggae Festival shuttle bus to the event. The shuttle is free, but you will have to pay for parking.

The Capital Area Food Bank is still looking for volunteers to help out at the event. Visit Capital Area Food Bank and click on the volunteer tab.

Last year the festival raised $270,000 for the food bank. That money was used to generate 680,000 meals for Central Texans.

Tickets are $20 at the door. For more event information click here.
