Allison Visits Red Rock Elementary

On Tuesday, I had the opportunity to visit the third grade students of Red Rock Elementary, Bastrop ISD, in Red Rock, Texas.
I had such a fun time speaking to the kids about how I got into television, my education in Meteorology, elements of weather, and how we forecast.
I also challenged a few of the students to be a Meteorologist as well! Mackenzie Gust, Ethan Rocha, Dalila Vera, Daniel Zarza, and Jatavia Brown did a great job reporting 'live' and different weather scenarios.
All the teachers were great. A big thanks to Beatriz Pina for inviting me out and all the other third grade teachers: Natalia Wessels, Johanna Catlett, Student Teacher Deborah Richard, Jana Moore, Anita Townsend, and Corene Roberts!
