Couple Walks & Bikes Across The Country

Updated: Wednesday, March 21 2012, 08:58 AM CDT
A 70-year-old couple are walking and biking across America.

They started their 3,500 mile Journey in January in San Diego.

They visited Austin on Wednesday, March 21 and they have a lot more land to cover.

Their journey across America is inspired by Citizenship Counts' Founder, Holocaust survivor and proud naturalized citizen, Gerda Weissmann Klein's life and the work of Citizenship Counts.

Diane and John Eckstein stopped by We Are Austin Mornings with their dog, Kipp.  While resting their legs they shared their story.
