Erica Commutes Live With You

The debut of our new segment "Erica Commutes With You"

We started the commute around 6:10am from the Cedar Park Center and headed south on Hwy 183. It was smooth sailing until we got closer to the exit for southbound I-35. That's a trouble spot I see every morning, and now I know why. While traffic is trying to exit for the interstate, drivers are also entering southbound Hwy 183, so you have people merging, entering and exiting at the same time from the same lane.

Once we got onto southbound I-35 we saw a stalled 18-wheeler on the shoulder that was causing a little bit of delay for those heading into Austin from the north on I-35. Otherwise, it really wasn't bad, and once we hit the upper and lower deck split we were cruising again.

We took the exit for 6th street and arrived in downtown by about 6:50. It was smooth sailing along 6th St and northbound Mopac all the way back to the KEYE TV studio.
