Fridays with Uncle Fred Honors Our Heroes

This morning (6/29) we focused on pre-Fourth of July activities that are honoring our veterans.
Austin Budweiser is partnering with the Round Rock Express for a special tribute benefiting Folds of Honor, a group that provides scholarship and support for families of war veterans.

World War II veteran Alvino Mendoza dropped in to thank Honor Flight Austin for taking him and other WWII vets to Washington, DC to see the World War II memorial.

Former Travis County Pct. 4 Commissioner Marcos DeLeon came in to invite us to the Pre-Fourth of July Barrio Parade. It's Saturday at 10:00am starting on Cesar Chavez at Pleasant Valley and ending at Fiesta Gardens.
