Updated: Tuesday, April 22 2014, 09:07 AM CDT

The Kyle Chamber of Commerce will host a candidate forum today for the city’s upcoming election.

The forum guests three mayoral candidates: former Mayor James Adkins, former councilmen Todd Webster and Bradley Pickett. District 2
Challenger Jaime Sanchez, are also expected to be in attendance, as well as District 4 Councilman David Wilson and challenger Laurie Luttrell

Today’s event is not a debate, but an opportunity for voters to ask each of the candidates ahead of the May 10 election.

Admission is $15 for chamber members and $20 for non-chamber members. Early voting begins April 28 and ends May 6.

"Our goal is to get to know (the candidates) and get to know where they stand on the issues facing Kyle and our region," said Chamber of Commerce CEO, Julie Snyder.

The League of Women Voters of the Austin Area will moderate the forum.

Today’s event is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and will take place at Texas Old Town-Sage Hall located at 1205 Roland Lane in Kyle.
