New Disc Golf Course is Also a Nice Trail

Austin's disc golfers will have a new place to play beginning Saturday. A new 18-hole disc golf course opens at Roy G. Guerrero Park off Pleasant Valley Road in Southeast Austin. If you enter the park via Pleasant Valley, the first tee will be behind the softball fields at the far end of the parking lot.
The opening of the new course will be celebrated with a ceremony Saturday at 10:00am, followed by expert demonstrations and live music.
