Stabbed New Braunfels Man In Stable Condition

A stabbing in New Braunfels sends one man to the hospital and another man is in custody this morning.

According to New Braunfels Police Department, they received a call at 12:37 a.m. on October 18th of a stabbing at the Landa Apartments, 200 Primrose Circle. Responders arrived on scene to find an adult male in the parking lot with a stab wound to the chest.

The victim is described as a white male, 37 years of age, from New Braunfels.  He was airlifted to University Hospital in stable condition.

NBPD K9 and a DPS helicopter were deployed to search for the suspect, who had fled on foot.

The suspect, described as a 40 year old male from New Braunfels, surrendered to area officials. He is being charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
