Boston Marathon: Aftermath Of Explosions

Updated: Saturday, August 3 2013, 05:15 PM CDT

Two explosions at the finish line of the Boston Marathon have resulted in 23 injuries and two dead, according to Boston police.

Bloody
spectators were being carried Monday to the medical tent that had been
set up to care for fatigued runners. Police wove through competitors as
they ran back toward the course.

Intelligence officials say two
more explosive devices were found at the Boston Marathon and are being
dismantled. The Boston Marathon headquarters was locked down after the
explosions.

According to a search of the 2013 Boston Marathon website, 187 of the race participants are from Austin.

Details from the scene are limited. To watch a live report from the scene go to http://www.keyetv.com/news/features/around-the-web/stories/cbs-news-live-player-keye.shtml#.UWxRwNUnh8E.

We will update this as we learn more.
