APD Seeks Suspect In HEB Robbery

Police are seeking the public's help to identify a man wanted in connection to a robbery at a Northwest Austin HEB.

The robbery happened Aug. 15 just before 1 p.m. at the HEB located at 11521 N. FM 620.

Police say a man (pictured above) entered the store, waited in the customer service line, and handed the clerk a bag and demanded money.

Police say the man took the bag and left the store before running to a black, four-door sedan in the parking lot.

The suspect is described as a white male, between 30 and 40 years old. He is 5'7" tall and has a medium build.  He was last seen wearing a camouflage and burnt orange Texas cap with a white longhorn emblem on the front, dark sunglasses, a faded pink short sleeved t-shirt, gray shorts, and black with white tennis shoes.
 
The vehicle is described as a black 4-door sedan, possibly a Dodge Avenger.
