Assistance Program Helps Kids Deal With Death

A local group that provides life altering programs for kids. The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors(TAPS) provides emotional support for families of America's fallen military.
They will be offering a 4-day, 3-night camping program to assist children ages 6-17 grieving the death of a loved one who served in the U.S. military.


Schedule:
Thursday, June 12 - 4:30pm-5:00pm - Arrival at camp- Patriot Guard Riders (veterans on motorcycles) will be present to welcome campers, film the fun as children check out the motorcycles, check in at camp registration and move into their cabins.
             Friday, June 13 , 10:00am-12:00pm - Interactive activities: art, active games
             Friday, June 13, 2:15pm-4:15pm - waterfront activities
             Saturday, June 14 , 10am-12:00pm - Interactive activities: art, active games
             Saturday, June 13, 2:15pm-4:15pm - waterfront activities
             Saturday June 14th - Variety Show/Youth Talent Show (7:30pm-8:30pm)
