Georgetown Council Petitioned To Provide Immigrant Housing

In Georgetown, controversy over the ongoing immigration crisis spilled over into city council chambers after a resident officially asked the city to provide housing for migrant children.

Dr. Sherwin Kahn presented the petition in support of providing housing for the children to city council Tuesday night.

The controversy, however, is a lot of the signatures are not from people living in Georgetown, they are from across the country.
