UPDATE: 2 Dead, 10 Injured in Caldwell Co. Collision

Updated: Monday, August 4 2014, 11:40 AM CDT
Two women were killed and several others were injured in a car accident in Northern Caldwell County Saturday morning.

The Department of Public Safety learned of the collision, an SUV rollover, around noon in the intersection of SH 130 and FM 1185. Eight people were ejected.

Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the area where two women, in their 20's and 30's, were pronounced dead on the scene. The women were identified as Veronica Razo, 31, and Sonia Ramirez, 27, both of Dallas.

There were 10 other patients, five children from ages 3-15 and five adults.

All air resources in the area were required to respond to the scene. Two Austin-Travis County STAR Flight Helicopters transported a total of seven patients, some of which to Dell Children's Hospital. Also, San Antonio Air Life and Methodist Air Care each transported one person to unknown locations.

In addition, one person was transported on ground to a facility in Caldwell County.

Officials say the right rear tire came off of the 2007 GMC Yukon that the group was riding in. This caused the vehicle to roll multiple times.

Ramirez and Razo were pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no word on the conditions of the other victims. UPDATE: 2 Dead, 10 Injured in Caldwell Co. Collision
