UPDATE: Officials with the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force say they arrested Waddell Tuesday afternoon in North Austin.

A fugitive from justice may be hiding out in Austin.

The U.S. Marshals Service says Roderick Waddell has laundry list of convictions -- include assault causing bodily injury, burglary of a vehicle and several counts of possession of a controlled substance.

"He is a 33-year-old man. He has spent the last 13-15 years in and out of the criminal justice system by virtue of arrests and convictions," says U.S. Marshal Supervisory Deputy Hector Gomez.

A warrant was issued for his arrest after he failed to follow guidelines of his supervised release.

"Roderick Waddell is we believe to be in the area. He has all his history in the Austin, Texas area. He is an avid gambler known to frequent legal and illegal gambling sites, places both online as well as the community here in Austin," says Gomez.

Tattoos cover his face and body.

Stars on both sides of his face near his ears, the words 'game over' on his shoulders, several chest tattoos that include 5-1-2 and east side.

He also has a red four leaf clover on one hand and artwork with the word thug on one arm.

Gomez says, "He's easily recognizable and he is one that is certainly going to come into contact with law enforcement and with a history of arrest will likely flee from law enforcement if he is encountered."

Roderick Waddell is 5'08, and weighs 168 pounds.
