Rattlesnake Handler Hospitalized With 12th Snakebite

Updated: Saturday, August 3 2013, 09:47 PM CDT

A popular Texas rattlesnake handler just can’t get enough, even after spending the weekend in a hospital following his 12th snake bite.

Jack Bibby missed out on the Brownwood Rattlesnake Round Up because of the recent bite. He showed off his scars and a deformed thumb on his left hand, where he was struck at least three times by a snake.

Bibby says he's garnered plenty of recognition world-wide for his snake handling over the years, even showing up in the Guinness Book of Records nine times."

Next week, Bibby will be handling snakes again, this time in Big Springs, Texas for the Rattlesnake Round Up.
