In honor of what would have been founder Harmon Dobson’s 100th birthday, Whataburger invites fans to enjoy an original Whataburger for just $1.00 plus tax today, Oct. 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. (dine in only). Whataburger customers can claim this limited-time Facebook Offer through the Whataburger Facebook page and redeem it at any Whataburger location Tuesday evening. Airport locations are excluded from this offer.

To receive their $1.00 Whataburger, fans can simply visit the Whataburger Facebook page and click the posted link to "Get Offer," which will then be sent to the email address associated with their individual Facebook account. Customers can present the printed offer from their email or show the offer on their mobile device while dining at their neighborhood Whataburger Tuesday evening between 5 and 8 p.m. No additional purchase is required to receive an original Whataburger for just $1.00 plus tax.

"When Harmon Dobson opened the first Whataburger in 1950, his vision was to create a burger so good customers couldn’t help but exclaim, 'What a burger!'" said Whataburger Group Director of Corporate Communications Pam Cox. “Today would have marked Harmon’s 100th birthday and we’re celebrating by offering the original Whataburger for just $1.00 plus tax as a thank you to our customers for making Harmon’s vision a reality."

Family-owned Whataburger has proudly served its famous burgers since 1950 and continues to deliver fresh, made-to-order meals every day with extraordinary customer service. Headquartered in San Antonio, Whataburger has successfully expanded from a single burger stand in Corpus Christi to a thriving family of more than 750 restaurants across 10 states today.

In addition to the original Whataburger, the 24-hour restaurant is well known as a popular destination for late night dining and breakfast.Whataburger celebrates founder's 100th Birthday with $1 Whataburger
