| MAC: 12-year wait will end in '08 for Ball State
The last time Ball State won the MAC
title was way back in 1996. That year, the Cardinals won their final eight
regular season games and finished 7-1 in the conference en route to the Las
Vegas Bowl. This season could be another special campaign for Ball State, as
all 11 offensive starters return including Nate Davis, the MAC's most
efficient passer with a QB rating of 139.1.

just outside of Eugene.
