Armstrong Says He Was Singled Out

Updated: Monday, November 11 2013, 08:15 PM CST

Lance Armstrong claims he's paid a heavy price for coming clean about his illegal doping. In an interview with the BBC, the disgraced cyclist says he was treated unfairly and singled out.

He says the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency needs to be more consistent in their investigations.

"Been tough, real tough and I've paid a heavy price both in terms of my standing in the sports and my eligibility, my reputation, and have certainly paid a heavy price financially because the lawsuits have continued to pile up," Armstrong said.

Armstrong was stripped of his seven Tour-de-France titles after finally admitting he used banned substances.
