David Ash Listed As Longhorns Starting QB

Sophomore David Ash is listed as the starting quarterback on Texas's initial depth chart of 2012.  Junior QB Case McCoy is the back-up.

Ash played in all 13 games during the 2011 season, starting six of those contests. The Belton native completed 99-of-174 (56.9%) pass attempts for 1,069 yards, four touchdowns and eight interceptions.

Texas opens the 2012 season September 1st at home vs. Wyoming.
