Rice Holds off Texas 7-2

Three Rice pitchers held 7th ranked Texas to one hit and Charlie Warren drove in 2 runs as the 21st ranked Owls knocked off the Longhorns 7-2 Tuesday night.With the win Rice avoids a regular season-sweep by UT.  The Horns had beaten the Owls twice already this season.Lukas Schiraldi was saddled with the loss for Texas.  The junior gave up seven earned runs and ten hits in just 4 1/3 innings.Rice Holds off Texas 7-2
