San Antonio Spurs Have Divine Fans

Updated: Saturday, August 3 2013, 09:47 PM CDT

It’s all or nothing tonight in Miami as the San Antonio Spurs take on the Heat for the 2013 NBA Championship tonight, and the Spurs just might have some divine help on their side.

Some of their biggest fans are the Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco.

The San Antonio nuns were disappointed after Game 6, some saying the game was stolen, others saying there were too many mistakes. But, they say they’re praying for the Spurs, and have asked God to bless them for the next game.

And just in case the Spurs need more luck, one nun says she has Saint Joseph, the Blessed Mother and says three rosaries a day for the team. Even Sister Rosalba Garcia has her walker decked out in Spurs gear.

The San Antonio Spurs have four championships, the Miami Heat have two.
