Texas Ex Cory Joseph Records NBA D-League Triple Double

The Austin Toros collected their most lopsided win of the season, 112-82, over the Maine Red Claws on Friday night at Cedar Park Center. Cory Joseph earned his first triple-double with the Toros, as he scored 15 points with 17 rebounds and 12 assists.

In the first quarter, the Toros went on a 14-2 run to take an early lead. They would end the quarter ahead 28-21.

Austin added to its lead by outscoring Maine in the second quarter by 16 points. The Toros took their biggest lead of the game at 62-39 after Da'Sean Butler hit a buzzer-beating layup just before halftime.

The Toros continued to build their lead in the third quarter, taking a 93-59 lead into the final period.

The Red Claws attempted to gain their ground in the fourth, but came up short as the Toros closed out a 30-point victory.

Seven Toros scored in double figures, including Joseph. Luke Zeller had 17 points and nine rebounds.

Morris Almond led Maine with 23 points and eight rebounds.

The Toros (28-16) and Red Claws (18-27) meet again on Saturday, March 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Cedar Park Center.Texas Ex Cory Joseph Records NBA D-League Triple Double
