Texas State Stuns Houston

Updated: Saturday, August 3 2013, 09:47 PM CDT
It only took one week for Texas State to leave an imprint as a new member of the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) formerly known as Division One. The Bobcats throttled Houston 30-13 on Saturday. The emphatic win was a little surprising to many including the Head Coach of the Bobcats, Dennis Franchione

It wasn't just stunning because of the 53-point swing from betting line to final score - even more so - it's the team's first win over an FBS school since 2000.  They are in deep with the big boys now - and it gets bigger this Saturday when they host Texas Tech. The Bobcats have a long way to go ... But have made one heck of a start.
