Texas Top 5 Plays

Updated: Monday, June 11 2012, 08:34 AM CDT
We begin with NBA scoring champ Kevin Durant.  KD and the Thunder win 4 straight games to close out the Spurs in 6.  The former Horn heads to his first NBA Finals.

At number 4, former Round Rock Dragon and Longhorn Jordan Danks gets his first major league call up this week and earns a milestone in his 2nd at bat.

Former Longhorn turn Mets shortstop, Omar Quintinilla finds his way in at number 3.

The dynamic duo of Spieth and Frittelli is number 2.  Last Monday just less than 24 hours removed from winning a national championship, Texas golfers Jordan Spieth and Dylan Frittelli were at the U.S. Open Sectionals in Houston.  The both remarkablyshot under par, Spieth earned a first alternate spot for this year’s open.

At number one, Marquise Goodwin makes history again.  Goodwin wins his 2nd career national championship in the long jump at the NCAA Track and Field Championships. Goodwin's winning jump was a career best at 27 feet!
