Vince Young's Last Chance?

Updated: Saturday, August 3 2013, 09:47 PM CDT
The déjà vu was eerie.

Vince Young throwing in the UT bubble.  NFL scouts watching his every move.

Only this time the scouts were in Austin looking for his strengths, not his weaknesses.

The Titans, Eagles and Bills have all given Young a chance to play in the NFL.  The embattled former Longhorns quarterback is hoping he gets one more.

In 2006 Young spent an afternoon at the UT practice facility showing scouts why he deserved the right to become their next franchise quarterback.  Seven years later all he wants is to become a part of a franchise.

Young's athleticism, footwork and arm all looked sharp in his Tuesday afternoon workout.  30 NFL teams attended UT's pro day, but not necessarily just to watch Young.  Kenny Vaccaro, Alex Okafor and Marquise Goodwin were among UT players looking to impress as well.

VY's impressive day may not override what NFL teams already have seen from him.  His off the field problems with finances and his on the field problems with mentality haven't escaped them.

Like many of his incredible plays at Texas though, Young is hoping for another miraculous escape – this time from his own shadows.
