Austin Cat Turns 33!
A cat in South Austin has managed to spread her nine lives across three decades!
Charlotte Webb turned 33-years-old this weekend.
The average life expectancy of a cat is around 12-15 years old.
Amazingly, this is the third cat of owner Jake Perry to reach this unbelievable milestone.
Previous cats "Grandpa Rex Allen" made it to 34 in the nineties. And in 2005 "Creampuff" turned a jaw-dropping 38-years-old.
Charlotte and her roommate Cowboy, a 13-year-old hairless sphinx, are the last in a long line of kitties Perry has adopted since the 1980's.
“These two are just like love birds, they sleep together, they groom together, they're happy cats,” Says Perry.
Perry's secret to the cat’s longevity? A daily breakfast of bacon, eggs, broccoli, and coffee with cream. Plus, every two days an eyedropper of red wine.
