Couple Arrested For Sexually Assaulting Runaway Teen At North Austin Motel

Police arrested a couple Monday for allegedly sexually assaulting a runaway at a North Austin motel.

According to the arrest affidavits, Eric Conner, 34, and Tasha Chika Morrison, 26, are both charged with sexual assault of a child, a second degree felony.

Court documents say police were responding to a missing persons call at the Budget Inn Hotel on the I-35 service road just south of the Rundberg Lane exit when they were flagged down by a 15-year-old girl who said she needed help.

She told police that she was from Irving, Texas but had run away from home -- and she had just been sexually assaulted by Conner and Morrison in one of the motel rooms.

While telling police what happened to her the victim noticed Morrison in the parking lot, who police then took into custody. The victim directed police to the room where the assault happened and Conner was taken in into custody.

When interviewed by detectives Morrison corroborated the details of the story that the victim told police at the scene. Conner refused to cooperate.

The arrest affidavits say the victim had her hands tied behind her back as she was assaulted. She was able to tell investigators specific details of the tattoos that Conner had on his body.
