Truck Slams Into Northeast Austin Home
A pickup truck slammed into a home in Northeast Austin Friday night.
Police were clearing the scene and the truck was getting ready to be towed off as a KEYE TV crew arrived.
A father and son inside the home at E. St. Johns Ave. and Bennett Ave were not hurt.
The driver told police he had just been assaulted and was trying to get away, when he accidentally drove into the home.
Police arrested him for driving drunk.
