Rosewood Avenue Closed Due To Water Main Break
A 24 inch water main broke this morning at Rosewood and Thompson in East Austin.
Jason Hill with Austin Water Utility says, no one will lose water service but to repair the 24 inch main crews will have dig up the street.
Rosewood is closed to traffic at Thompson and Hargrave.
Hill says they’ve re-routed the Capitol Metro buses around the closure.
It’s unknown how long the repair will take or how long Rosewood will be closed.
