Driver Carjacked In Front Of Northeast Austin High School
A carjacking occurred in front of a Northeast Austin high school Monday afternoon.
It happened at around 12 p.m. at Lazy Creek Drive and Pecan Brook Drive, right next to LBJ High School.
Police say two men approached a car at the intersection and displayed a weapon to the driver. The driver was forced from the car, and one of the suspects drove off with it. The second suspect drove away in a second vehicle.
No one was injured.
Police said they did not know if the victim was a student at the high school. A description of the vehicles was not available.
