Lakeway Home Suffers Damage In Fire
A Lakeway home was damaged Thursday evening after a fire.
It happened at around 6 p.m. in the 2000 block of Lakeway Boulevard, about a mile from the RR 620 intersection.
Emergency responders say part of the home’s roof was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived, but no one was home.
Crews were able to get it under control before it spread, but one firefighter suffered a first degree burn while extinguishing the blaze.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
