Fugitive San Marcos Man Found Guilty Of Aggravated Sexual Assault


Law enforcement is searching for a San Marcos man that was found guilty this week of aggravated sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl.

Officials with the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force say Pedro Javier Quintero, 22, fled this week during his criminal trial in the Caldwell County District Court in Lockhart.

He was found guilty and sentenced to a 48-year prison term.

Quintero was charged along with three others in the 2009 assault that took place in Reedville, just east of San Marcos.
