Body Found In East Austin
Police say a body was found in an East Austin neighborhood Monday afternoon.
Austin police say the body was found at around 2:10 p.m. after officers were called out to the Springdale Road and Lyons Road intersection for a check welfare call. That intersection is just north of E. Seventh Street.
A spokesperson for the Austin police department says the circumstances surrounding the person's death does not appear to be suspicious, but the investigation continues.
