Hill Country Braces For Winter Weather
As wintery weather moves into Central Texas, one of the areas that could see some snow is out west in Fredericksburg.
Residents and tourists did see some light flurries throughout the day. The National Weather Service is predicting rain, sleet and snow for many parts of south and Central Texas -- including Fredericksburg, San Marcos, Austin and surrounding areas.
A mix of light rain and snow is expected to continue Thursday evening, with up to an inch of snow overnight spreading across the hill country towards the Austin metro area.
The winter weather conditions will end Friday afternoon as temperatures warm back up.
