Western Wear Store Robbed In South Austin
A South Austin western wear store was robbed Wednesday evening.
According to Austin police, it happened at around 7:40 p.m. at the Gomez Western Wear located in the 6700 block of South Congress Ave, at the William Cannon Drive intersection.
Police say two armed suspects entered the store, displayed their weapons and robbed it. No injuries have been reported.
The suspects are described as a black male and white male, both are approximately 20 years of age. The white male was wearing a gray jacket and sweat shorts. The black male was wearing a hoodie and blue jeans, according to police.
